			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people watch a game of soccer and do not know the number of hours get into practicing the different <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/">soccer skills</a> needed to play the overall game.  To become a decent player, you will spend a lot of time doing boring <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/improving-soccer-skills-tips-that-work">coaching drills</a>.  These are the foundation of soccer; they help you to get your body used to doing certain moves and never have to think about it.</p>
<p> Running down a field while keeping charge of a ball isn&#8217;t as easy since it looks.  Consider that there will be a number of other people looking to get that ball from you and it is even harder.  When you join a team you will learn how you can move with a ball, how to ensure that it stays from the other team, how you can pass it, and you&#8217;ll learn to do this while running as quickly as you are able to.  If you&#8217;re able to have at least part of what you need to be doing almost automatic, then you can focus on other things.  The drills can help you with this.</p>
<p> While at practice you have to watch your team mates too.  Learn how they move, listen when the coach tells you about individual weaknesses and strengths.  Soccer is really a team sport, and also you all have to know how to play with one another.  Don&#8217;t think of the hour you spent passing the ball around the field as a chore or punishment, instead give consideration.  As it pertains game time you will need to know such things as number 3 is excellent when the ball is coming to him about the right, but misses a great deal if developing the left.</p>
<p> It is important to make sure you visit all of your practices.  Yes, this can mean quitting some of your free time.  Practice may not be as much fun as a game, but if you do not go you will not be able to play.  Your coach, or the organization itself, may have rules on attending practices to become eligible to play.  More importantly though, if you do not visit practices you will not possess the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/soccer-skills-the-keys-to-success">soccer fitness</a> to play.  You&#8217;re no good to the team if you get fatigued in the middle of the game.  Remember to remain up and moving, during half time you might want to spend a few minutes re-warming up prior to going back out to play.</p>
<p> Soccer might not be a complete contact sport, but there is lots of endurance needed, and lots of skill.  If you intent to playing the game, take the time to discover the basic soccer skills and intend on practicing a great deal!</p>

<p> Arms: Arms facilitate in the balancing of the body through weight distribution, especially when jumping to head a ball or changing directions. A powerful jump is made by throwing the arms in the air.</p>
<p> Plyometric: For best results, weight training should go together with a well-planned plyometric program. Using this technique such players will be produced who will show good results in the first half of the season.</p>
<p> Always remember to give importance to the core as only a well-developed soccer fitness program to develop the core will positively aim these areas.</p>

<p>It is very commonly heard nowadays that <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/weight_training_soccer.html">weight training soccer</a> is a major factor of sports training in today’s times as it creates tougher and quicker muscles. Using this soccer fitness strategy discussed in this article, your players will have an opportunity to play soccer at higher level.</p>
<p> During soccer weight training the aim is to improve the strength, speed and stamina of the muscles instead of just increasing the muscle weight. Though the importance of upper body weight training for soccer is not as much as the legs, we still go on with it for general conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> I recommend you begin your fitness training with the legs. Begin with the squatting exercises. This session should be followed by putting the bar to a weight with which the players can perform 20 reps with. Let&#8217;s say they are pretty strong, so tell them to begin with 220 pounds. They have to get under the bar, with it resting across their upper back, and stand up with it.</p>
<p> They should then get out of the stands and stand with their feet and shoulder width apart. After that they must lower their body while holding on to the bar till their hips are a little bit below the top of their knee. When they reach this level in weight training soccer, they should stand up quickly and exhale. They should be motivated to do this for 20 reps even when they are totally worked out.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/fitness">Soccer Fitness</a></p>
<p> A 5-10 minutes break should be taken before moving on with the leg curl machine to work on hamstrings. Your players will be doing 4 sets of 15 reps each. In between each set of Leg Curls, they&#8217;ll also be doing 4 sets of 15 reps on the Stiff-Legged Dead lift. Hamstrings are vital for players speed, thus we would want them to be strong enough.</p>
<p> Then conclude your leg workout with 3 sets of 25 reps on the Standing calf-raise machine.</p>
<p> Begin with using the Incline bench press, for the upper body workout.<br /> Once the players have performed the warm ups, tell them to carry on by putting more weights such that the next set of 10 reps get harder. They should continue with that weight for 5 sets of 10 repetitions total, while stretching their chest and shoulders, and resting for around 2 minutes between each set.</p>
<p> Next are the pull-up exercises in this section of soccer strength training. This exercise should be done with the palms facing their body so that their biceps and back can become strong. The final part of the upper body work out involves working on abdominals and doing 5 sets of 20 or more reps of leg raises. The last in this work out are the crunches do 5 sets of 50 or more.</p>

<p>You&#8217;ve probably heard it a hundred times that a basic <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_conditioning.html">soccer conditioning</a> program is at the core of a team&#8217;s success. Without strength, agility, and endurance, all of which are build as a result of soccer exercises, the players cannot even dream of being fit for a tournament, leave alone winning it.</p>
<p> Nonetheless, you or your team may have to deal with the lack of time to practice prior to a competition. This does not suggest you to cut back on your conditioning exercises. You don’t wish to see your players getting hurt prior to the match or at some point in the game.</p>
<p> A well planned soccer fitness training course has the capacity to fully train the players even in less that 3 days time. It only needs some good quality planning, and sincerity in its execution. Here are a few tips to work with short but effective conditioning programs.</p>
<p> Warming up: Tell the players to kick off with any of these; a five minute jog, heel flicks, high knees, or jumping. Take adequate rest for a few seconds in between. This should be followed by some stretching of muscles for about 5 minutes to tone them up. These soccer workouts must include every important muscle group in it.</p>

<p>Running: Some coaches make their players do continuous rounds of running. Although there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s advisable that players strictly do some soccer specific running only. It means that for about 30 minutes, they do a combination of running, jogging, walking, and sprinting in no set order.</p>
<p> This running at varying speeds builds stamina and also helps players control their body. Also, they do not get fatigued since a walk after a sprint balances things out.</p>
<p> Just let the individual players make a decision as to what they want to do and when. If they have a liking for sprinting more than jogging, so be it. As the players get fitter and their stamina increases, you can increase the duration of your soccer conditioning program by another 5 to 10 minutes.</p>
<p> Stretching: Persuade the players to do stretching exercises both after the training session as well as a match. Focus on the entire body but give special attention to hamstrings, groins, quads, calves and lower back. Keep in mind that the stretching positions should be longer than the warm-up sessions. In general, 20 to 30 seconds is recommended.</p>
<p> A day before the match, make the players rest. This will help the muscles restore their form and also there will be no possibility of an injury. Also, this is a great time to talk to the players and giving them a high.</p>
<p> Discuss some funny things or joke so that they feel lighter.</p>

<p> We’ll look at it from a different perspective. For some reason, your team is forced to stay away from their daily exercise regime. They didn’t even find the time to go out for a walk or a jog for a long time.</p>
<p> Now comes the time when players must bounce back on the field. Think about what all they will have to go through in such a case. It will become pretty hard for the players to reach that level of physical work that they were used to since muscles become rigid.</p>

<p> Being the team’s coach, you must work on designing a plan incorporating both these energy systems in it. It must be a progressive plan that builds from one phase of the training to the next in a sequence. You will be able to plan your overall conditioning phase of your training.</p>
<p> The anaerobic energy system uses the energy stored in the muscles along with lactic acid, which is the energy metabolism by-product. It helps efficient supply of energy for a minimal amount of time. The position at which the player plays as also the team’s playing style determines how much anaerobic energy is used by the player.</p>
<p> For instance, the goalkeeper spends very little time in moving around the ground. So, the goalkeeper can store his energy for a longer period.</p>
<p> For so long as the body&#8217;s demand for energy is being met, energy will be sustained. In the event of lack of sufficient energy, the player does not feel energetic. This causes the need for oxygen when the training session extends beyond a standard limit.</p>
<p> The aerobic system works with the anaerobic system in this soccer fitness schedule. Their ability to march ahead with great speed and agility will work wonders at the end of the match when opposition is weak.</p>
