Brazilian Soccer Schools] [Futebol de Salao  Famous BSS uses Futebol de Salao (FDS).  The training and game is characterized as a 5-a-side version of soccer originally from South America.  FDS is played with a smaller (size 2), and slightly heavier (465gm) ball that has very little bounce to it. 

The PIASLC has also confirmed an connection with the US-based IronKids programme. This  association will support four junior Triathlon events every year as well as training camps for youth aged between 6 and 15.

As part of a total commitment to sports excellence the Phuket International Academy Mind Centre has started to make available training in the cultivation of cognitive and emotional balance.   The Phuket International Academy Mind Centre will  offer  a blend of contemporary psychology and neuroscience together with traditional Asian contemplative practices.  Working in close interaction with the Phuket International Academy Day School and the PIA Sports and Leisure Club, the programmes offered through Phuket International Academy Mind Centre will contribute to everyone’s improved mental equilibrium
and wellbeing.  Some retreats focuses on two methods for cultivating meditative quiescence referred to as shamatha.     It teaches the practice of “mindfulness of breathing”, which is an effective way for relaxing the body and calming the mind.
